Introduction:
I HAVE ONE WEEK TO CREATE A MULTIMEDIA SCRAPBOOK AND I KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THEM.
The assignment is to do just that, create a multimedia scrapbook in one week over a topic of your choosing that the teacher has approved prior to you starting. To begin, start by researching what aMultimedia Scrapbookis and go from there.
The Task:
The task is to create a Multimedia Scrapbook over a topic of your choice within a weeks time.
Resources:
You may use the Internet or the library.
You may bring in photos that you have found and get the teacher or someone that knows how to operate the scanner to scan in the pictures.
Below is a list of Internet Resources:

The Process:
The process for creating a Multimedia Scrapbook begins with following these simple steps.
  • Decide on what the Multimedia Scrapbook will be about. Make sure to clear it with your teacher.
  • Now start researching your topic both on the Internet and in the library. Maybe you can even ask other people that may have some knowledge on the topic to contribute.
  • Put all of your research in groups according to what it is and when it should be presented in the Scrapbook.
  • Open one of the programs that you know can be used to create a Multimedia Scrapbook. (Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Publisher, and Microsoft FrontPage are just a couple of programs.)
  • Start entering your information into the computer either using a templateor using the "Copy and Paste" method. (This method means that you highlight, copy, and paste to your document the information from various locations on the Internet. Check out and make sure that you obey the Copyright Laws.)
  • Now that you have completed entering everything you can check all of the links and ensure that they actually work.
  • Finally you have finished and you feel confident enough to turn in your disk with your Multimedia Scrapbook on it to the teacher
Evaluation:
There will be a grade given for individual work only. So make sure that you turn in a Multimedia Scrapbook.
Multimedia Scrapbooks will be evaluated on theWeb Evaluation for Secondary Grades.
Conclusion:
Congratulations on completing a Multimedia Scrapbook a.k.a. a web page. This resource is either one you will look at and think "when will I ever use this?" or it is one that you will decide that this is the beginning of a look at how easy it is to work with web pages. Take this knowledge and make a difference in the world around you.
