Introduction

Have you ever wanted a pet? How about a cat? Or, maybe you already have a dog, a guinea pig or a bird. Many animals are very cute, but are they practical as a pet? How hard would it be to keep a pig at your house? How about an elephant? Rabbits are adorable, but how hard are they to keep as a domestic pet? Hop along on this quest as we learn about the many aspects of the rabbit.



 

The Task
the student will create one of the following:

*an original diorama which describes a rabbits'
 habitat: model of rabbit, food, water, and shelter.

*an original song or poem based on a rabbits' habitat

*an original skit based on a rabbits' habitat

The Process

You'll be assigned to a team of 5 students
Your team will choose a task from the list above
Be sure your task includes the following:
              A. Where it lives-domestic or wild
              B. What it eats and drinks
              C. Physical Characteristics
              D. It's friends and foes
              E. Care of rabbit

         * Any interesting facts about rabbits

     



 

Evaluation
Evaluation will be based on the following:
                    * Each team member assumed responsibility for one of the
                       tasks above.
                    * All information should be accurate.
                    * All research should be on index cards.
                    * Presentation: All presentations should be 3-5 minutes in
                      length, each team member responsible for their portion,
                      and presented with enthusiasm.


 

Conclusion
