Welcome to Ms. Beck's Science class! Science is everywhere, and that means it's in you too! I don't just mean that you are made of science (even though you are, of course) - I mean that everything you've ever heard about science (like "it's too hard for somebody like me," or "Nobody ever uses this stuff!" or "I can't do this!") is wrong. Yep. Wrong. Science is a search for truth. Everybody uses science, even you, even when you don't know it.
And can you do science? Are you kidding me?!
You already have everything it takes to learn, make, do, and understand science. It's already in you. This year, your job is to recognize it, question it, bring it out, and do something with it!
So let's get started! To find what you need (notes, assignments, pictures, information, projects, and free 100s for test grades,) (just kidding about the test grades), click on the class you are now in and then download the files that go with the chapter and section that you want.
You can also check out the blog here: SHS I See Science although it hasn't been updated in a while (and that's because there's a lot that has to be done to get this website started and being everywhere at once is not one of Ms. Beck's super powers.) Don't worry. We'll get back to it. In the mean time, it's still got good stuff on it, including links to other good blogs and cool websites.
