NOTICE OF REGULAR MEETING

                                                                            KNOX CITY-O'BRIEN C.I.S.D.

Notice is hereby given that on February 19, 2007, the Board of Trustees of the Knox City-O'Brien C.I.S.D. will hold a REGULAR board meeting at 7:00 p.m., in the Administrative Office, 606 East Main Street, Knox City, Texas.  Topics to be discussed are listed on the agenda.

If, during the course of the meeting covered by this Notice, the Board of Trustees should determine that a closed or executive meeting or session of the Board of Trustees is required, then such closed or executive meeting or session as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, Texas Government Code Chapter 551.001 et.sea. will be held by the school board at the date, hour, and place given in this Notice or as soon after the commencement of the meeting covered by this Notice as the board may conveniently meet in such closed or executive meeting or session concerning any and all purposes permitted the Act, including, but not limited to Chapter 551.

Explanatory Notes

Agenda Item #7 – The three principals will be here to give their annual reports.

Agenda Item #8 –Coach Lee will be here to give his annual athletic report.

Agenda Item #9&10 – The house that burned next to this office has been deeded to the school district.  The property taxes for this year and last year have not been paid.  This results in approximately 1000.00 in delinquent taxes.  I would like for board to request to the other entities they forgive the taxes.  Also, we need to discuss options for cleaning up the property.

Agenda Items #11- February is the month the board renews the Principal and Athletic Director Contracts for the 2007-08 School Year.
